Lloyd’s specialist insurer Atrium has announced the appointment of Chris Baker as head of specialist reinsurance.
Baker will join Atrium upon completion of his contractual obligations in July 2027 and will underwrite 2028 accounts.
In his new role, he will develop Atrium’s specialty reinsurance portfolio in line with its five-year transformation strategy.
Baker has 22 years of industry experience and prior to joining Atrium, he served as global head of reinsurance at Chaucer, where he was responsible for nearly $2 billion in premiums.
