Celebrity Traitors finalist King Kenny is playing down the idea that there was anything but plotting and scheming going on between himself and co-star Maya Jama in that iconic turret.
Earlier this week, Kenny sat down for an interview on Capital XTRA Breakfast, where presenter Robert Bruce pointed out that, since the finale aired last week, he and Maya have been snapped out together more than once, prompting speculation about a romance among fans.

“What’s going on?! Why are they doing that to you?” the host asked about the paparazzi photos, to which Kenny insisted: “I don’t know, man.”
The social media personality then added: “We just laugh at it, to be honest. That’s just what happens, innit, when you’re in the limelight?
“You’ve just got to laugh at it and move on.”

During the most recent season of the Bafta-winning reality show, Maya was chosen as a day one Traitor, later recruiting Kenny after past cohort Richard E Grant outed himself almost immediately and teammates Hannah Fry and James Acaster were only reluctant members of the dark side.
While they both made it to the final day in the castle, Maya was eventually shown the door at the last round table discussion, where even Kenny voted to send her out.
“Good luck, you’re going to need it,” she warned on her way out.
Kenny, meanwhile, was eliminated at one of the final votes of the series, after which comedian Romesh Ranganathan and actor Sebastian Croft split the prize money between their chosen charities as members of the Faithful team.
The Celebrity Traitors will return to our screens in the autumn of 2027, with producers already shooting high when it comes to the cast.
Before that, though, there’s the fifth season of the regular show, which will return to BBC One in January.
