Birgit Boykin has been appointed as Chief People Officer of Oliver Wyman and Marsh Management Consulting, effective October 1, 2026.
In her new position, Boykin will work closely with leaders across Oliver Wyman and Marsh Management Consulting to build a global strategy for people that aligns with organisational growth and goals.
Furthermore, she will lead efforts to attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent while strengthening the colleague experience across recruiting, onboarding, staffing, performance, and career development.
She will also be a member of the Oliver Wyman Global Leadership Team and the Marsh People Leadership Team.
The executive initially joined Oliver Wyman, a global management consulting firm and Marsh business, in 2025 as Chief People Officer for the Americas.
In this role, she supported the region’s commercial growth agenda, strengthened performance management and helped build the leadership capabilities of Oliver Wyman’s Human Capital function.

Prior to Oliver Wyman, Boykin served at BlackRock, where she spent eight years of her career. During her time there, she worked as a Managing Director and Global Human Resources Business Partner for Technology & Operations and other roles.
She also spent 13 years at Booz & Company (later Strategy&), where she led Global Partner Affairs.
