Bobby Le Blanc will resign from the Board of Directors, effective February 11, 2026, following the sale of Onex Corporation’s remaining shares in international specialty insurance company Ryan Specialty Holdings, Inc.

Onex CEO Le Blanc has served on the Ryan Specialty board since 2018 and was originally a nominee when Onex invested in Ryan Specialty.

Onex has sold approximately 4.1 million shares of Ryan Specialty’s Class A common stock, completely exiting its investment in the insurance company.

Onex reportedly received $226 million from the sale. All told, Onex realized $1.2 billion in gains from its investment in Ryan Specialty, representing 3.8x capitalization and an IRR of 49%.

Patrick G. Ryan, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ryan Specialty, commented: “Bobby has been an outstanding director of Ryan Specialty and we are grateful for his contributions over the past seven-plus years. We are also grateful to Onex for investing in Ryan Specialty prior to our IPO.

“This investment has helped us at an important time in our growth trajectory and has proven to be extremely profitable for Onex. Following the sale of Onex’s remaining shares in Ryan Specialty, both parties agreed that the time was ripe for Bobby to retire from the Board.”

Le Blanc added: “I am extremely grateful to Founder and Chairman Pat Ryan, CEO Tim Turner and the entire Ryan Specialty team for their partnership and the tremendous value they have created for all shareholders.

“It has been a privilege to work with them over the past seven years, watching them grow and solidify their position as a market leader in specialty insurance solutions. On behalf of Onex, I would like to congratulate them on their achievements and wish them continued success.”
