Eirion Risk Underwriters has announced the launch of its Construction Professional Liability (CPL) scheme, designed to provide professional risk coverage for contractors and construction project stakeholders.
The program offers a range of coverage including annual Contractor Professional and Pollution Liability (CPPL), project-specific CPPL and Owner Protective Professional Indemnity (OPPI).
The program, which has an A+
“The construction industry continues to evolve, with contractors taking on greater professional responsibilities on many projects,” said Michael Davis, managing director of CPL programs at Eirion Risk Underwriters. “We developed this program to combine experienced underwriting, robust policy forms and centralized claims management to support brokers and their contractor clients.”
A key feature of the plan is Eirion’s continuity of coverage provision, designed to provide additional flexibility in reporting professional liability claims while insureds maintain continuous coverage under the plan.
“Eirion’s approach is to focus on actual coverage enhancements that reflect how construction projects and contractor relationships operate in the real world,” said Kellan Quinn, co-president of Eirion Risk Underwriters. “Coverage Continuity is designed to provide additional flexibility to insureds maintaining long-term coverage relationships while supporting rigorous underwriting.”
Eirion’s new CPL program is now available nationwide through select wholesale and retail brokerage partners specializing in construction and professional liability risks.
