Arrowhead Intermediaries has appointed Benjamin Auray as chief commercial officer to boost its commercial capabilities in the specialty insurance market.
In his new role, Auray will lead Arrowhead’s commercial strategy with a focus on driving organic growth through strengthening broker relationships and expanding into new markets.
Auray has more than three decades of leadership experience in the global property and casualty reinsurance industry.
Most recently, he served as chief commercial officer for global commercial insurance at SCOR Business Solutions, where he led sustainable growth in international markets and expanded the company’s presence in the U.S., Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA), Asia Pacific (APAC) and Latin America markets.

He also played a key role in growing specialty insurance capabilities, including the MGA-based business model, while consistently delivering profitable underwriting results.
Arrowhead Intermediaries CEO Steve Boyd commented on the appointment: “Benjamin’s deep industry expertise and proven ability to drive profitable growth make him an outstanding addition to our leadership team.
“His track record of building high-performing teams and cultivating strong commercial partnerships aligns with Arrowhead’s focus on expanding our platform and creating value for our distribution network.”
Auray said: “Arrowhead Intermediaries is building an effective platform for the global insurance market.
“I am excited to join the leadership team and help expand the value we provide to insurance brokers and agents in North America and international markets.”
