Traditional acquirer DARAG Group has announced the completion of a portfolio transfer agreement for its global reinsurance book.
The portfolio transfer was completed in May 2026 after DARAG acquired the entire portfolio from the internationally operating operator Ambra Versicherung AG (Ambra).
The underwriting period of the transaction spans the 1970s to the 2010s and covers an international liability portfolio. The transaction has been approved by BaFin.
