Arch Reinsurance Group, a unit of Bermuda-based Arch Capital Group Ltd., has appointed William Soares as chief executive officer (CEO) of Arch Reinsurance Ltd. in Bermuda and Jon Schriber as chief executive officer of Arch Reinsurance Company in the United States, effective immediately.
Suarez and Schrieber will both report to Jerome Halgan, who was appointed CEO of Arch Global Reinsurance Group last month.
Soares has been with Arch for twenty years and has held various positions of increasing responsibility within Arch Re in Bermuda, including serving as President of Arch Reinsurance Ltd. from 2025.

Schriber joined the Bermuda-based company in 2023 from reinsurer PartnerRe, where he served as president of Arch Reinsurance Company.
