Aon, a global professional services firm that provides risk, retirement and health solutions to organizations around the world, announced the appointment of Bob Reville as senior managing director and casualty catastrophe market leader for Aon’s Venture Capital business unit, effective July 15.
Reville will bring extensive experience in casualty modeling and predictive analytics to support the company’s insurance clients in an increasingly complex risk environment.
His responsibilities will focus on helping clients assess emerging and established casualty risks across product and environmental lines while identifying growth opportunities as market needs continue to evolve. This includes addressing issues such as PFAS contamination and the impact of inflation on society.
Reville will report to Amanda Lyons, global product leader, Reinsurance Solutions. Prior to joining the company, he worked at Moody’s and previously co-founded and served as CEO of casualty analytics company Praedicat.
Lyons commented: “Bob brings deep expertise in extreme liability risk and advanced analytics that will help our clients better understand and respond to the risks posed by large-scale liability incidents. This is an exciting advancement that will help strengthen how we combine casualty expertise, analytics and market innovation to solve increasingly complex client challenges.”
Reville added: “We are building a casualty catastrophe market that matches the property catastrophe market for underlying risks, expanding coverage and opening up new opportunities in insurance and capital markets. Aon’s ability to connect capital to risk supports this ambition, and I’m excited to work with such entrepreneurial, client-focused colleagues.”
