Aon, a global professional services firm specializing in risk, retirement and health solutions, has appointed Ben Major as head of network brokerage for its global brokerage centers financial business unit.
He has extensive experience in the London insurance market, having worked in both the professional and financial sectors, with a focus on the development and deployment of complex international cyber projects.
Major has nearly 14 years of experience at Aon. He is currently an Executive Director at Aon, a position he will hold from April 2024, supporting large enterprise clients in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Canada.
Prior to that, he served as a director from 2021 to 2024 and as a broker in the Global Brokerage Center’s Financial and Professional Services team from 2016 to 2021, advising on commercial E&O and cyber insurance solutions.
Earlier in his career at Aon, Major served as a senior account manager from 2014 to 2016, focusing on providing professional indemnity and insurance solutions to attorneys and other SME professional services clients.
Aon said the appointment underscores the company’s continued commitment to supporting clients in making informed decisions through its expertise and global market capabilities.
