Amynta Group, an insurance services provider, has completed its acquisition of Southern States Underwriters and SSC Insurance Agency (collectively, Southern States Underwriters).
In August 2026, Amynta Group announced that it had agreed to acquire Southern States Underwriters.
Founded in 1953, Southern States Underwriters is a specialty managing general underwriter (MGU) providing commercial property and casualty insurance to the agribusiness market.
Southern States Underwriters serves as the attorney-in-fact for the Southern States Insurance Exchange.
The acquisition follows several deals completed by Amynta Group late last year, including the acquisitions of Global Surety, LLC, International Sureties Limited and International Sureties SARL, collectively known as International Sureties. Separately, its subsidiary, First Nonprofit Companies, Inc. (FNP), acquired Nonprofit Services Insurance Agency, Inc. (NPS).
