Lloyds Group AEGIS London has announced the appointment of Robert M. Blue as a non-executive director, further strengthening its board of directors.
Blue serves on the Board of Directors of Associated Electric & Gas Insurance Services Limited (AEGIS), the parent company of AEGIS London, and also serves as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Dominion Energy, a Fortune 500 electric and natural gas utility company.
He serves on the boards of several major energy industry and civil society organizations, including the Nuclear Power Operations Institute (Chairman), the Edison Electric Institute, the Nuclear Energy Institute, AEGIS Insurance Services, Inc., and the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, among others.
Blue joined the company in 2005 and spent 20 years at Dominion, where he held a variety of senior leadership roles in regulatory, operational and public policy functions. He became president and CEO in October 2020 and chairman in April 2021.
Prior to that, he served as advisor to the Governor of Virginia and policy director to Governor Mark Warner. Early in his career, he practiced law at Hogan & Hartson (now Hogan Lovells).
