WTW subsidiary Willis has confirmed the appointment of Alex Benson as Head of Construction and Natural Resources Claims, Asia, with the position commencing on 6 April 2026.
Benson, who operates out of Singapore, will join the regional leadership team and report directly to Alex Rosati, head of claims for Asia at Willis.
The appointment will see Benson responsible for providing clients with expert claims guidance, advocacy and dispute resolution support. His responsibilities include working closely with Willis Asia claims professionals and coordinating with the company’s global network of claims experts.
In addition to this, Benson will work closely with the reinsurance market to help provide consistent and efficient claims services to clients in the region.
Alex Rosati, head of Asia claims at Willis, said in announcing the appointment: “Alex Benson has extensive experience in insurance claims adjustments for major adjusters, civil construction projects and natural resource losses across multiple jurisdictions. His addition to our Asia claims team will benefit our clients, particularly as companies in the construction and natural resources industries face increasingly complex risk challenges.”

Benson built his career through a series of senior roles at leading international loss adjustment firms. After starting in the UK, he has been based in Asia for the past 10 years, winning recognition from clients, reinsurers and industry stakeholders. He holds the Chartered Loss Adjuster (CILA) qualification and is a certified member of FUEDI, the European Federation of Loss Adjusters Professionals, which brings together 15 national loss adjuster associations
