Willis, a WTW company, and its embedded insurance infrastructure partner Kayna have partnered with Kwant to launch digital insurance program KwantSure.

KwantSure will be embedded directly into Kwant’s workforce management platform, allowing subcontractors to obtain the insurance coverage they need to maintain project compliance.

This functionality is integrated into the platform used by general contractors to manage workforce operations and Certificate of Insurance (COI) tracking.

The program combines Kwant’s platform, which powers 160,000 workers across the United States, to provide general contractors with real-time visibility into subcontractor insurance status through integrated COI tracking.

It also includes Kayna’s embedded insurance technology, which integrates a streamlined, data-led insurance purchasing experience directly within the platform, and Willis’ Affinity expertise, which provides customized subcontractor insurance such as general liability, professional liability, cyber, business owner policies and pay-as-you-go workers’ compensation.

By embedding insurance procurement into COI workflows, KwantSure streamlines the procurement process and reduces overhead, the company noted.

This integration allows subcontractors to request quotes and ensure coverage within minutes. For general contractors, the program enhances compliance visibility and helps reduce project risk.

Nabeel Tanveer, head of US affinity and programs at Willis, said: “Providing technology-enabled embedded insurance solutions is a key strategic priority for us. By integrating Willis brokerage insurance directly into Kwant’s COI tracking platform, we are streamlining insurance coverage for subcontractors, enhancing compliance and removing friction from the procurement process.”

Niran Shrestha, CEO and co-founder of Kwant, said: “By combining Kwant’s project intelligence with Willis’ brokerage expertise and Kayna’s technology, we are making it faster, simpler and easier for contractors to obtain insurance.

“Contractors can get coverage in minutes while staying compliant through proactive alerts and real-time monitoring. Together we will help reduce risk on complex projects and lay the foundation for a broader range of digital insurance solutions.”

Paul Prendergast, CEO of Kayna, said: “Kwant is helping subcontractors close compliance gaps and reduce the risk of underinsurance in real time. This is how a vertical SaaS platform can improve business practices, solve problems and provide real value to customers.

“KwantSure delivers end-to-end, data-led insurance solutions designed specifically to meet the needs of Kwant customers, helping them achieve business continuity and continued growth. I’m delighted that our joint efforts have brought such powerful tools to a trusted platform, driving change in the construction sector to make it safer, smarter and more efficient.”
