Specialist insurance company Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) has promoted Cameron Spencer and Jake Burgess to head of its fine arts and coins division.
The promotion reflects TMK’s long-term commitment to this type of business and increases the insurer’s art and treasures risk ceiling from US$125 million to US$200 million.
This joint leadership model provides brokers with service continuity and more direct access to senior decision makers with meaningful capabilities.
Spencer and Burgess, who each have 13 years of experience, began their careers together at Catlin Syndicate in 2013.
Burgess has since held roles at AXA XL in London and the US, while Spencer has spent time at Travelers Europe.
Vivek Syal, Chief Underwriting Officer at Tokio Marine Kiln, commented: “We are delighted to appoint Cameron and Jake to these well-deserved roles.
“Their leadership reflects our ambitions for fine art and coins and enhances our ability to support brokers with global reach, specialized underwriting of complex aggregates, and customized solutions for emerging or unique risks. This investment in advanced capabilities ensures clients receive the protection they need without compromise.”
