Slide Insurance Holdings, Inc., a property insurance provider offering cover for homeowners and other property owners, has expanded its range of insurance products in South Carolina, adding new policy options aimed at homeowners and condominium owners across the state, including its coastal communities.
Through its subsidiary, Slide Specialty Insurance Company, Slide is introducing an HO5 policy for higher-value properties, as well as new HO3 homeowners and HO6 condominium policies. Slide said the three products provide a wider selection of coverage options and discounts, alongside rates it describes as competitive.
According to Slide, the expansion is intended to provide additional insurance capacity in South Carolina at a time when some coastal communities are experiencing population growth and increased demand for property cover.
The company highlighted Horry County, which includes the Myrtle Beach area, where US Census Bureau estimates cited by Slide indicate that the population has increased by more than 20% since 2020.

Slide has operated in the South Carolina homeowners insurance market since 2022. The company said the latest expansion forms part of its wider strategy to increase its presence across selected property insurance markets while maintaining geographic diversification.
Slide also said its underwriting technology and catastrophe risk management capabilities are central to its approach to expanding capacity in areas where it identifies opportunities. The company describes its South Carolina expansion as part of its broader focus on measured growth within the property insurance sector.
