Paris-based global reinsurer SCOR has announced the appointment of three senior leaders to lead its Cedant temporary reinsurance business in North America, Europe and Latin America.
All three leaders report to Julia Willberg, global head of Cedant Facultative Reinsurance in SCOR’s London office.
Andrea Baer has been appointed senior vice president and head of North America branch reinsurance operations, based in New York. She has over 25 years of experience in Europe and the Americas, with a background spanning facultative reinsurance underwriting, alternative risk transfer and strategic client engagements.
Hans Pieter Guillot has been appointed as Head of Reinsurance Europe at Cedant, based in Cologne. He has 20 years of international underwriting experience, expertise in risk analysis and a strong focus on developing long-term client relationships.
Santiago Torres has been named head of Cedant’s Latin America reinsurance business, based in Bogota. With over 15 years of experience in reinsurance and regional leadership roles, he will focus on strengthening partnerships and supporting business growth across the region.
