International specialty reinsurance/managing general agent (MGA) Rokstone has announced the addition of Claire Lill to its North American casualty team.
Lill joins Rokstone’s established North American casualty leadership team, which includes Larry Burrows, Ben Baker, Alex Fitzpatrick and Lex Beesley.
Together they are building a casualty platform that combines underwriting expertise, long-term capability partnerships and advanced technology capabilities to create a differentiated proposition for brokers and clients.
As casualty risks become more complex, the company remains focused on attracting market-leading talent while helping underwriters make informed, disciplined decisions powered by data, insights and expertise.
Lill has over thirty years’ experience in the London and international casualty markets.
Prior to joining Rokstone, she worked at QBE as QBE European US Casualty Portfolio Manager.
Prior to that, Lill served as a U.S. casualty insurance executive underwriter at Apollo Syndicate in 1969. She also held positions at Argo Group, Liberty International Underwriters and Zurich Insurance.
“Claire is one of the most highly regarded individuals in the market and brings discipline, technical expertise and strong broker relationships to the broader team,” said Larry Burrows, Rokstone’s head of North American Casualty. “She is a natural leader among her peers and greatly enhances our ability to grow our portfolio and deliver creative solutions to our broker partners.”
