PwC Bermuda has announced the promotion of three new partners, including Damian Sealy, who is also head of actuarial services and advises insurers, reinsurers and captives on actuarial, risk and financial matters within the audit and advisory practice.
Sealy joined PwC Bermuda in 2019 from PwC UK, where he led PwC’s actuarial services practice in Bermuda and across PwC member firms operating in the Caribbean.
He played a key role in expanding the firm’s actuarial practice and developing actuarial talent across the region.
Prior to joining PwC, Sealy worked as a pensions and insurance consultant for WTW and as a senior actuarial analyst at HSBC.
PwC also promoted David Cartmill to partner. He has over 20 years of experience in Bermuda, the UK and Australia.
Cartmill leads PwC’s private client practice, which specializes in providing audit, accounting, payroll and support services to local and international clients across a range of industries.
He works closely with clients to provide strategic insights and help address complex accounting and reporting challenges. Together with his team, he delivers practical, tailored solutions designed to support private clients’ long-term success.
In addition, Crystal Pittendriigh has been appointed partner, with over 18 years of experience in the financial services sector, specializing in the re/insurance industry.
Pittendrigh advises on U.S. tax matters, including compliance and related information reporting, and the implementation of Bermuda corporate income tax. Her primary focus is on Bermuda captive insurance companies, insurance-related securities structures and U.S. consolidated groups.
PwC said the promotions mark an important milestone and reflect its continued investment in business development, talent strength and commitment to expanding diversity in senior leadership.
