Bermuda-based insurer and reinsurer Hamilton Insurance Group Ltd. has announced that Peter Wilson has been elected to the company’s Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting.
Wilson has more than three decades of leadership experience in the global professional, commercial and professional liability markets.
Most recently, he served as CEO of AXIS’ global specialty insurance business, overseeing an organization of more than 600 employees across 30 offices.
Prior to that, Wilson spent two decades with CNA Insurance, serving in a variety of senior leadership roles, including president and chief operating officer of CNA Specialty. He started his career at AIG.
He has also served on various insurance and reinsurance committees, including AXIS Specialty, CNA Europe and QBE Insurance Group, and was a member of the audit and risk committees.
