Global reinsurance broker Gallagher Re has announced the appointment of Odd Kåre Engh Mistereggen as interim broker for EMEA.
Mistereggen joins from rival broker Howden Re and brings a strong analytical approach to complex risk management with a strong background in project management, retail broking and reinsurance.
Mistereggen specializes in property and casualty risk transfer, captive insurance and temporary reinsurance, with extensive experience in designing custom solutions for client risks in areas such as PDBI, CAR/EAR and casualty.
The executive spent more than five years at Arctic Insurance AS before serving as reinsurance broker for Howden Re for two years.
He initially joined the company as an associate broker in 2020 and was appointed insurance broker two years later. Prior to joining Arctic Insurance, he worked as a project manager for Insr Insurance Group ASA.
