Gallagher Re, the reinsurance brokerage and advisory arm of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., announced the appointment of Miguel Araújo as the new leader of its Iberian operations.
Araújo combines technical expertise and commercial experience to support the development of solutions and the management of client relationships.
Araujo will be responsible for overseeing operations and growth across the Iberia region.
He currently serves as Executive Director of Gallagher Re. Prior to this, he worked as a reinsurance broker and CAT Analysis Specialist (EMEA) at Willis Re in Greater London.
Earlier in his career, Araújo spent more than four years at AXIS Capital in London, where he held positions including Insurance Accumulation/Natural Catastrophe Risk Analyst and Senior CAT Modeling Analyst.
The appointment is part of Gallagher Re’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its leadership position in key markets.
