Industry veteran Michael Parrish has joined Aon Guernsey, the Channel Islands operation of the global professional services and insurance brokerage firm Aon, as Executive Director.
Parrish brings over 30 years of global experience across captive insurance, alternative risk financing, risk management and insurance consulting to his new role.
Throughout his career he has gathered extensive expertise advising multinational organisations on captive strategy, feasibility, implementation, governance and ongoing management.
Most recently, the executive served as Senior Vice President & Client Service Leader at Marsh Management Services in Bermuda, leading a portfolio of strategic captive clients and overseeing client service delivery, governance, operational performance and multidisciplinary teams.
Parrish’s career has also included senior roles across the UK, Europe and Asia Pacific, in companies like Roy Hill Iron Ore Project, Risk Advisory Services, and CITIC Pacific Mining Management Pty Ltd.
Additionally, he has also has chaired the Bermuda Captive Conference, served on the Bermuda Government’s Insurance Advisory Committee and is a regular speaker on captive and alternative risk financing topics.
