Gallagher, the global insurance broking and risk management group, has announced the appointment of Malgorzata (Gosia) Kuczewska as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its operations in Switzerland.
Established in 2019, Gallagher’s Switzerland team provides insurance and risk management services across a range of industries including financial lines, construction, property and fine art.
Kuczewska brings 17 years of insurance experience spanning broking, underwriting, and client management, specialising in the Swiss and Austrian markets. In her new role, she will lead Gallagher’s team headquartered in Zurich.
She joins Gallagher from AIG, where she served as Accident & Health Manager Switzerland & Austria.
Prior to that, Kuczewska served as Corporate A&H Manager at Chubb. She also spent seven years at Markel International, most recently as Global Accident & Health Treaty Underwriter.
Alexander Nagler, CEO of Gallagher in Europe, said, “Gosia is a fantastic addition to our team in Switzerland and throughout her career she has demonstrated the ability to deliver portfolio growth and a talent for building high-performing teams. As we continue to build our presence in Europe, she is the ideal candidate to lead our Swiss team and I look forward to working with her to drive organic growth and take our services to a broader range of clients.”
