Linda Langenberg appointed Head of Section Property Treaty Global Clients and Lloyd’s at Munich Re

Munich Re, one of the world’s leading providers of reinsurance, primary insurance and risk solutions, has appointed Linda Langenberg as global head of property treaties clients and Lloyds.

She takes on the new role after more than 16 years with Munich Re. During her career at the firm, she held a series of underwriting positions in the international property treaty practice, gaining extensive experience in global client portfolios and catastrophe modeling.

Langenberg said she was grateful for more than 12 years working in Europe and Latin America, including six and a half years supporting the UK, the Nordic region and the Netherlands. She thanks Munich Re for providing her with the opportunity to build lasting professional relationships, valuable partnerships and broad industry experience during her tenure.

In her new role, Langenberg will work with Munich Re’s property treaty global client and Lloyd’s teams during a dynamic period in the market.

Langenberg joined Munich Re in 2010 as a junior underwriter and catastrophe modeler for U.S. property treaties and global clients. She later progressed through underwriting positions in the United States, Caribbean, Latin America, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the Nordics, culminating in becoming a senior underwriter of property treaties. Most recently she served as senior underwriter before being appointed global head of client and Lloyd’s of Property Treaties.
