Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers (RSUM), the underwriting management arm of Ryan Specialty, has named Kristin Daur president, head of North America, Ryan Specialty Renewable Energy, effective immediately.
Ryan Specialty Renewables is the managing general underwriter of RSUM and is focused on delivering renewable energy and energy transition solutions globally.
The division was recently unified and includes PERse North America, PERse International and Albus under a single vision and leadership structure.
Daur will be responsible for the strategic direction, underwriting performance, operational execution and continued growth of the North American business.
Additionally, Daur will work closely with Ryan Specialty Renewables’ leadership to advance the platform’s global strategy, deepen collaboration between North American and international operations, enhance service capabilities and drive innovation among brokers and capital trading partners.
The company explained that she has been integral to PERse’s growth and success, holding multiple leadership roles during her tenure. RSUM explains that her in-depth knowledge of the renewable energy insurance market, strong operational expertise and long-term market relationships have made a significant contribution to the development and performance of RSUM’s energy and power products.
