Zambia-based reinsurer Klapton Reinsurance (Klapton Re) has announced the appointment of Aloisia Panashe Kufakunesu as Head of Risk Insights and Actuarial Affairs.
In her new role, Aloisia will lead Klapton Re’s risk insights and actuarial functions, providing strategic actuarial expertise to enhance risk management, support product development and deliver data-driven insights to drive value for customers and partners.
She has extensive experience in actuarial consulting, reinsurance and pension fund advisory, with extensive expertise in pricing, provisioning, financial modelling, risk analysis and IFRS 17 implementation.
Prior to joining Klapton Reinsurance, Aloisia worked as an actuarial analyst at the Independent Actuaries and Consultants Corporation (IAC Africa), where she was subsequently promoted to senior actuarial analyst.
Most recently, she served as Actuarial Manager for IAC Africa, leading actuarial reporting and pricing projects across Southern Africa.
