Media personality Katie Price and former home secretary Suella Braverman are among the stars taking part in the celebrity version of the reality show Handcuffed.
Handcuffed first aired on Channel 4 earlier this year, seeing contestants from all walks of life being chained together with someone with opposing views or different backgrounds to them 24 hours a day in a bid to win a cash prize.
Fronted by Jonathan Ross, the series was won by Charlotte, a traditional homemaker, and Rob, an OnlyFans model.
On Monday, The Sun published pictures of Price and Braverman “debating in the street” while handcuffed together as part of the show’s upcoming celebrity counterpart.
The tabloid claimed that filming on Celebrity Handcuffed got underway this week, and the project had been “shrouded in secrecy” so the famous participants wouldn’t have it spoiled in the press with whom they’d be handcuffed.
Citing a “source” close to the production, they claimed that the unlikely duo had already bonded over “juggling a high-profile life with parenthood”.
Other public figures and celebrities involved in the series have not yet been unveiled.
Price has several reality show appearances to her name already, including two stints on I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!, Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins and Celebrity Big Brother, which she won in 2015.
Earlier this year, she reflected on her life in the public as part of the three-part documentary Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, which was made in collaboration with Louis Theroux.
Braverman, meanwhile, is the MP for Fareham and Waterlooville, and was previously part of the Conservative governments of leaders Theresa May, Boris Johnson, Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak.
Earlier this year, she made headlines when she defected from the Conservative party to Nigel Farage’s Reform.
