Global specialty insurance company Fortegra announces the appointment of Iwan Röpcke as CEO of Belgium.
Röpcke joins Fortegra with more than 25 years of insurance industry experience, covering brokerage, commercial leadership and executive management in the Benelux and wider European markets.
Röpcke’s industry expertise spans a range of specialist risk areas and has deep relationships within the European broker and insurance community.
Prior to his new appointment, the executive served as country manager for Belgium and the Netherlands at Lloyd’s Insurance Company SA, where he was responsible for business strategy and development while building the business from the ground up.
Prior to joining Lloyds, Röpcke held senior leadership roles at Willis Towers Watson (via Gras Savoye) as Sales Executive and Competence Center Director.
His career also includes positions as Commercial Director at Inter Partner Assistance (AXA Assistance), Benelux, Winterthur Europe Assurances, AIG Europe, Aon Belgium and Marsh.
