International insurance brokerage Gallagher announces the appointment of two new executives, based in Switzerland: Gosia Kuczewska and Samuel Trost.
Kuczewska will join the company as head of distribution and account management, bringing more than 17 years of insurance broking, underwriting and account management experience with expertise in the accident and health, property, maritime and professional indemnity sectors.
During Gallagher’s tenure, the executive will lead the team responsible for developing distribution and customer engagement across Switzerland, with a focus on new business development.
Trost has been named chief brokerage officer for Switzerland, a newly created position. In this role, he will oversee a team that provides insurance and risk management solutions to clients.
Prior to his new appointment, Trost oversaw client management and business development. Trost initially started his career at Allianz in 2010 before transitioning into brokerage in 2014 before joining Gallagher in 2021.
Both Kuczewska and Trost will report to Christian Peters, CEO of Gallagher Switzerland, who commented: “Gosia and Samuel will play a key role in expanding our Swiss client base and by creating these unique roles we will be well-positioned to deliver on our growth aspirations.
