Fortegra Group, a global specialty insurance company affiliated with DB Insurance Co., Ltd., announced the appointment of Mark Rattner as President.
Rattner brings more than thirty years of industry experience, including ten years in leadership roles at Fortegra and long-standing relationships with key distribution partners.
He joined Fortegra in September 2016 and most recently served as executive vice president, insurance operations and chief underwriting officer.
Prior to joining Fortegra, Rattner spent five years at Houston International Insurance Group in various roles, most recently as senior vice president, where he built the company’s professional liability division.
Prior to that, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Terrapin Capital Holdings. Rattner also served as owner and director of Rattner Mackenzie Limited from 2005 to 2008 and as chairman and chief executive officer of Professional Indemnity Agency, Inc., a subsidiary of HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc., from 2001 to 2005.
Earlier in his career, he served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Professional Indemnity Agency, Inc., a subsidiary of Marshall Rattner, Inc., from 1991 to 2001.
