Everest Group, the Bermuda-based insurance and reinsurance company, has promoted Tomi Latva-Kiskola to CEO of Global Wholesale and Specialties, Asia Pacific (APAC).
Latva-Kiskola has held a senior leadership role in Asia Pacific at Everest since February 2024.
He initially joined as head of insurance operations in Asia and was later appointed CEO of Everest International Reinsurance Ltd.’s Singapore branch.
Prior to Everest, Latva-Kiskola spent nearly 16 years at AIG, holding a range of senior international leadership roles in North America, Asia and EMEA.
During this time, Latva-Kiskola served primarily as Country Manager for Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau and as President and CEO of AIG Insurance Hong Kong (2018-2024).
Prior to that, he served as Group President of AIG Thailand and CEO and Country Manager of New Hampshire Insurance Company of Thailand (2014 to 2019).
Previous roles include Vice President and Managing Director of AIG Shared Services EMEA in Sofia, Vice President and Field Manager of AIG Shared Services in Manila, and Director of International General Insurance (AIU) Operations in the Greater New York area.
