Everest Group, Ltd., an underwriting organization specializing in reinsurance and specialty insurance solutions, announced the appointment of Lisa Davis as head of wholesale and specialty insurance, North America.
In his new role at Everest, Davis will be responsible for the company’s North American wholesale and specialty businesses, including underwriting guidance, distribution oversight and portfolio management across the region.
She will report directly to Jason Keen, Everest’s executive vice president and chief executive officer of global wholesale and specialty businesses, and will be a member of his senior leadership team.
Davis has more than 35 years of experience developing and growing specialty insurance businesses in wholesale markets, with particular strengths in underwriting leadership, portfolio oversight and distribution strategy.
She most recently led the development and growth of Canopius’ U.S. operations, delivering sustained profitable performance while significantly increasing scale. Prior to that, she served as president and chief operating officer of Sompo America North America and held senior leadership positions at Zurich North America and The St Paul Companies.
