Everest, a global insurance and reinsurance group, has appointed Devkant Rustagi as Chief Financial Officer for its reinsurance business in London.
Rustagi’s appointment adds to his experience across finance, accounting and reporting roles within the insurance and reinsurance sector.
Before joining Everest, Rustagi spent four years at Acrisure as SVP, International Accounting & Reporting, a role he held from August 2022 to July 2026. Based in Greater London, he was responsible for international accounting and reporting during his time with the insurance and financial services business.
Prior to Acrisure, Rustagi worked at Catalina Re as Head of UK Reporting & Finance Operations from February 2020 to August 2022. He also previously served as Interim Chief Financial Officer at AmTrust International – Mortgage and Special Risk between November 2017 and October 2019.
Rustagi’s move to Everest brings experience spanning financial reporting, finance operations and senior finance leadership across the London insurance market.
