DUAL Europe, the European arm of international underwriting agency DUAL Group, has appointed Frank Masteling as Managing Director of DUAL Benelux.
In addition to his new responsibilities, Mastrin will continue in his existing role as Head of European Trade Credit, reflecting DUAL Europe’s continued investment in leadership and its long-term commitment to the Benelux market.
Mastrin has more than thirty years of experience in financial services and trade credit insurance. His career includes senior underwriting, risk management and commercial leadership roles at various international insurance companies. Prior to joining DUAL Europe, he held leadership roles at Atradius, responsible for specialty products across multiple regions, and later at Nexus Trade Credit, where he served as chief underwriting officer, head of Europe and subsequently managing director, overseeing the trade credit business across the UK and Europe.
DUAL Europe said Masterlin has played a central role in growing the European trade credit business since joining the company as head of European trade credit. The company said he led the launch of its trade credit program, expanded the platform across Europe and built a dedicated underwriting team, strengthening DUAL Europe’s position in what it described as an increasingly important market.

Founded in 2023, DUAL Benelux has established a strong presence in the region with the support of a team of around 45 professionals in Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Antwerp, DUAL Europe said.
