BirdsEyeView, a technology provider of natural hazard modeling and risk management solutions to the insurance industry, has announced a multi-year partnership with Market Lane Insurance Group, one of Australia’s largest independently owned Lloyd’s underwriters.

Through this partnership, Market Lane Insurance Group and its related brands will leverage BirdsEyeView’s CERA® platform to support their catastrophe risk analysis and risk management activities.

The platform brings together high-resolution natural hazard models and risk management capabilities to help underwriting teams evaluate portfolios and make risk-based decisions more effectively.

BirdsEyeView said the agreement represented another milestone in its continued growth in the Australian insurance market. The partnership will give Market Lane’s underwriting teams access to detailed risk insights and management tools through a single platform, supporting their ongoing portfolio assessment and underwriting approach.

Toby Salmon, Managing Director of Market Lane Insurance Group, commented: “We have been impressed by both the quality of the technology and the customer service provided by the BirdsEyeView team. Combining high-resolution natural hazard modeling and risk management in one platform provides our team with a more efficient way to assess risk and support underwriting decisions.”

“The platform continues to evolve through regular enhancements, and the team has been proactive in embracing our feedback and incorporating features that are truly valuable to our workflow. It has become a great addition to our underwriting toolkit and we look forward to seeing the continued growth of the platform.”

BirdsEyeView added that the partnership highlights the insurance industry’s growing need for integrated catastrophe modeling and risk management solutions.
