AXA XL, AXA’s property, casualty and specialty risks division, has announced the appointment of Samantha Wotton as head of underwriter development.
Wotton will join AXA XL after six years at DUAL Group, the international underwriting arm of Howden Group.
During his time at DUAL Group, Wotton served as UK Deputy Commercial Officer, where he was involved in supporting the growth and development of the business.
Looking ahead to the new role, Wotton highlighted the opportunity to lead AXA’s XL cover development activities and work closely with its team and distribution partners.
“I’m now looking forward to starting a new chapter with AXA XL. I’m really excited about the opportunity to lead Coverholder Development and work with a great team while helping to strengthen and grow one of the most important distribution channels in the market,” she said.
