Arrowhead Programs launches new portfolio leadership function and appoints Brandon Schall

Arrowhead Programs, part of Arrowhead Intermediaries, has established a dedicated leadership function to oversee portfolio strategy at a broader level.

Brandon Schall has been named chief portfolio officer and will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the company’s portfolio. His focus will include strengthening partnerships with insurers and ensuring consistent alignment between underwriting strategies and performance results.

Prior to this decision, Arrowhead Programs’ total written premiums will exceed $7.9 billion in 2025, supported by a highly diversified mandated underwriting portfolio. By introducing this role, the company aims to build closer operator relationships while delivering more tailored solutions across different markets, product lines and risk areas.

Schall, who operates out of Dallas, Texas, will work with senior leaders to track market developments, identify areas for expansion, drive new product initiatives and maintain alignment between operator expectations and product portfolio results.

He brings more than two decades of experience to the position, including 17 years with Arrowhead Programs MGU American Specialty, where he held senior positions and led sales efforts with a focus on growth and profitability. Most recently, he served as President of the Health Special Risks Unit, an accident and health focused MGU within the organization.

Following his appointment, leadership of the Health Special Risks unit will pass to Jeff Holmes and Chris Lyons, who both joined Arrowhead Intermediaries through the acquisition of One80 and bring extensive industry experience to their new roles.

“Operators keep telling us they want to do more with the Arrowhead program,” Schall said. “My role is to align the right opportunities and product needs across our portfolio with operator needs, help the team develop priority products to bring to market, and drive business growth initiatives.”
