Arch Insurance EU (Arch), part of Arch Insurance International, has announced the appointment of Andrea De Simone as Head of Cyber for Italy.
In his new role, De Simone will be responsible for growing Arch’s cyber portfolio across Italy, providing solutions for cyber, tech E&O and media E&O on a primary and excess basis.
Based in Milan, he will report to Jose Carlos Jiménez Fernández, Head of Cyber, Europe.
De Simone joins Arch from Sompo, where he most recently served as a Senior Cyber Underwriter, Italy.
Prior to that, he held several cyber underwriting roles at Chubb, including as a Major Account Cyber Underwriter.
