Global insurance and reinsurance brokerage and risk advisor Aon has announced two key leadership appointments within Aon Reinsurance Middle East Limited.
Hassan Elamin has been appointed interim managing director, Middle East, Africa and Türkiye.
In this role, Elamin will oversee the adjunct business in the Middle East, Africa and Turkey, focusing on delivering tailored adjunct solutions and strengthening Aon’s presence in these markets.
He joined Aon in April 2013 as an adjunct executive director and has since held increasingly senior positions, most recently as adjunct head of Middle East, Africa and Turkey for Aon Reinsurance Solutions. Prior to joining Aon, he held positions at Lockton and Marsh McLennan.
Moustafa Jarrah has been appointed General Manager of the Middle East and North Africa Treaty Department.
In his new role, Jarrah will lead the treaty reinsurance business across the MENA region, working closely with clients and markets to deliver innovative risk transfer solutions and support Aon’s growth ambitions in the region.
He has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. He has been with Aon for nearly eight years, most recently as head of treaties for the Middle East and North Africa. Prior to joining Aon, he was a treaty reinsurance manager at Fenchurch Faris Ltd and began his career at Chedid Capital Group.
Aon said the appointments reflected its continued investment in the region and its commitment to delivering differentiated reinsurance solutions and insights to clients.
