Aon appoints Sarah Goodman as Life Sciences Broking Practice Leader

Aon, a global professional services firm providing risk, retirement and health solutions, announced the appointment of Sarah Goodman, CPCU, ARM, AINS, as head of its life sciences brokerage business.

Aon said Goodman brings a wealth of industry expertise and established market relationships to the role, where she will focus on supporting innovation and helping clients navigate an increasingly complex risk landscape. The appointment is part of Aon’s ongoing investment in industry-focused expertise and reflects the company’s Aon alliance strategy.

Goodman has more than a decade of experience in life sciences insurance. She has served as chief operating officer of Aon Life Sciences since March 2020 and is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she oversees operational strategy and supports the company’s life sciences practice.

Prior to joining Aon, Goodman served as senior vice president at Marsh & Company, a position she held from July 2014 to March 2020 in the New York City metropolitan area.

Earlier in her career, she served as vice president of life sciences for Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. from November 2012 to July 2014. In this role, she works with life sciences customers and prospects to identify and develop solutions that meet their risk management requirements, while collaborating with colleagues across the enterprise.
