Global professional services company Aon has announced a new application programming interface (API) integration between Aon Broker Copilot and Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, the commercial insurance arm of Swiss Re Group, making Aon Broker Copilot the first insurance company to integrate directly with Aon Broker Copilot via an API connection.
The integration is expected to enable end-to-end digital connectivity throughout the placement lifecycle and transform the way complex risks are submitted, quoted and bound, delivering a “faster and more responsive” client experience.
Aon noted that this development reflects its continued investment in the digital and analytics ecosystem, building on its 3×3 initiative and $1.3 billion in technology and talent investments.
“These capabilities, including Aon Broker Copilot and Aon Claims Copilot, as well as Aon’s suite of risk analyzers and diagnostic tools, embed insights into brokerage workflows to support smarter decision-making and more consistent execution throughout the risk lifecycle,” the global professional services organization said.
Aon explained that its investments in API connectivity, along with broader data, analytics and technology initiatives across the customer value chain, are enabling more efficient access to capital and driving improved customer outcomes.
“For insurers such as Swiss Re, the integration provides direct access to Aon’s distribution network and drives significant improvements in underwriting performance and efficiency through structured risk submissions across market cycles,” the company added.
