The Ardonagh Group has appointed Antonio El Hokayem as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Antarah, its authorised Lloyd’s of London Coverholder and managing general agent (MGA) subsidiary for the Middle East and African territories, subject to customary regulatory approvals.
El Hokayem has deep expertise across underwriting, placement and portfolio management.
Since 2022, he has served at Gallagher in several positions, including Financial Lines Director for the Middle East and Africa, and Head of Specialty for Saudi Arabia.
Before this, El Hokayem spent three years at Zurich as Financial Lines Underwriter and started his insurance career as a broker for Chedid Re.
The MGA offers a specialist multi-lines proposition capitalising its regional expertise to develop product solutions backed by “A” rated binding authorities and Lloyd’s of London capacity.
