Allianz Re, a unit of global insurer Allianz, has appointed Anna Kohls as its new regional chief executive officer (CEO) and head of client management for property and casualty, Allianz Re Asia Pacific (ARAP), effective January 1, 2026.
The appointment is subject to approval by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
Coles succeeds Kenrick Law in the role, who is stepping down after 12 years of service.
From January, Coles will be responsible for operations in Singapore and lead Allianz Re’s third-party P&C business in Asia Pacific.
She has been with Allianz for over 16 years, most recently as Group Head of Reinsurance for Western Europe and Iberia Latin America in Munich.
In the past, Kohls held the positions of Allianz Client Model MidCorp Senior Project Director, Asia Pacific Group Reinsurance Head, Asia Pacific Property & Casualty Account Manager, Africa Account Manager, Trading and Analytics.

“Law’s visionary leadership and commitment have been instrumental in driving the success and growth of our reinsurance business in Singapore and the wider Asia Pacific region.
