Lockton Re, the reinsurance arm of independent insurance brokerage Lockton, has announced the appointment of Zeeshan Ahmad as head of treaty and structured solutions at Lockton MENA Reinsurance Brokers.
Ahmad has over 15 years of reinsurance experience, with expertise spanning treaty underwriting, structured solutions and portfolio optimization in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
He joins Lockton Re after seven years at Afro Asian Insurance Services Ltd, most recently as Director of Treaties and Structured Solutions.
Prior to this, he held a number of senior positions at GIC Re, including property treaty underwriter and Chief Underwriting Officer of GIC Re South Africa Ltd.
