Nathan Fielder’s new documentary about Elizabeth Holmes is becoming one of the year’s most hyped releases.
The Canadian comedian already has a loyal following thanks to projects like Nathan For You, The Experiment and The Curse, for his latest project, he spent weeks in the orbit of Elizabeth Holmes for the doc You Can See Everything, ahead of her prison sentence for defrauding investors in her now-defunct health tech company Theranos.
You Can See Everything premiered at a surprise screening at the Telluride Film Festival last month, with an unsettling trailer getting the whole world talking when it debuted online that same day.
On Friday, the doc – which clocks in at just shy of three hours – hit cinemas in the US, quickly setting a new record as the highest-rated film on the social media site Letterboxd.
At the time of writing, it holds an average score of 4.71 stars out of a possible five, based on reviews from more than 181,000 users, overtaking the Japanese period drama Harakiri’s 4.68 stars.
Similarly, You Can See Everything holds a near-perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes, where its critical score is a glowing 99% (thanks to one solitary negative review), while its audience rating is just shy of this, at 98%.
Before it fell to 99%, Rotten Tomatoes had previously pointed out that it was the first movie of 2026 to get a perfect 100% score, and with only one negative review to speak of (for now), it’s still the best-reviewed movie of this year.
Unfortunately, those of us in the UK still have a bit of a wait on our hands, as You Can See Everything isn’t due to arrive in British cinemas until Friday 20 November.
Before that, though, you have the opportunity to check out more about Elizabeth Holmes’ story in the award-winning Disney+ drama The Dropout or the true crime podcast of the same name.
