Willis, a WTW company, has announced the appointment of new leadership in the North American Enterprise Risk and Brokerage business, aiming to strengthen the development of the platform.
As part of these moves, Michael Butch has been hired as head of North America growth operations, a newly created position.
In his new role, Butch will leverage his more than 20 years of experience in sales analytics, financial analysis and data-driven decision-making to drive alignment, efficiency and consistency of growth initiatives to help accelerate pipeline development and conversion, request for proposal (RFP) adoption and recruiting.
Prior to joining Willis, he served as head of North America sales analytics and insights at Marsh.
Jim Blaney will take over as leader of growth support for North America, effective immediately.
An expert in organic growth, disciplined sales execution and discipline-led strategies, Blaney will focus on providing the team with the tools, insights and capabilities needed to support new business generation, customer retention and disciplined sales execution.
The executive has held several leadership positions during his career at WTW, most recently as director of sales and account management.
Butch and Blaney join Brian Hetherington, head of North America strategic growth, as part of the North America growth leadership team, reporting to Willis chief growth officer Paul Graziano.
The team will work together to accelerate growth and strengthen customer engagement across North America.
“These appointments mark another step in building a stronger, more connected growth platform in North America,” said Graziano. “Mike, Jim and Brian bring deep expertise, trusted leadership and a strong commitment to culture and community – key reasons why customers choose WTW and grow with us over the long term.
