Willis Networks, a WTW business, has appointed Lynne Norledge as its Managing Director (MD) and Mark Cobham as Deputy MD.
In her new role, Norledge will focus on supporting the growth of independent brokers within the Network, strengthening insurer relationships, and ensuring members continued growth.
Since joining the business in 2017, Norledge has established close relationships with Willis Networks Members, Network Markets and colleagues. Most recently, she served as the Commercial Director leading Willis Networks’ insurer relationship strategy.
Norledge has over four decades of experience in insurance broking, and has held senior leadership, client management, and profit centre leadership roles at organisations including Marsh, Aon, and HSBC Insurance Brokers.
Meanwhile, Cobham has worked within the company for three decades, most recently as the Networks Services Director, leading on all areas of service delivery.
Philippa Cartmell, Senior Managing Director, GB Retail, commented, “Lynne’s experience within the Network, combined with her broader industry background, gives her a unique perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing independent brokers.
“And with Mark appointed as Deputy Managing Director, we have a strengthened leadership team in place to support our Network members and ensuring we continue to deliver the strong insurer relationships and broader risk and insurance expertise which WTW can bring to our clients.”
Norledge added, “Willis Networks has a powerful role to play in supporting independent brokers as they navigate a changing market. I am delighted to take on this role and look forward to working closely with our Members, markets and colleagues to build on the strong foundations already in place and continue delivering meaningful value for Members and their clients.”
