WTW Enterprises Willis has announced the appointment of Tony Simm as interim head of Europe and UK.
In his new role, Simm will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality client solutions across diverse geographies and lines of business.
He is also responsible for developing strategy for the European and UK interim teams, attracting and developing top broker talent and strengthening relationships with cedents and reinsurers.
The executive has two decades of industry experience and previously served as UK part-time head of Willis’ direct and part-time business units.
His career includes senior reinsurance brokerage roles with Guy Carpenter and Gallagher Re, where he gained deep technical expertise and a proven track record of developing innovative temporary placements.
Simm will report to Garret Gaughan, global head of direct and part-time at Willis, who commented: “Tony has been an outstanding asset to our part-time business and his expanded responsibilities reflect his leadership and our strategic focus.
“His experience, market insight and customer focus will further enhance our ability to support cedants and drive growth across Europe and the UK.
“This collaboration allows us to work more effectively across geographies, respond more quickly to market dynamics, and fully leverage our talent,” said Simm. “I look forward to building on our solid foundation to deliver even better results for our clients.”
