Talbot Underwriting Ltd, an international insurer and reinsurer and part of AIG, has appointed Peter Bremner as Active Underwriter for Lloyd’s Syndicate 1183.
Bremner brings 20 years of industry experience, with extensive Lloyd’s market expertise, strong market relationships and a track record of underwriting leadership and profitable growth.
He joins Talbot from Everest, where he most recently served as Head of UK & Ireland Retail.
Prior to that, Bremner was Head of Management Liability for Chubb Global Markets and Regional Head of Financial Lines, Eurasia & Africa. Previously, he served as Senior Underwriter, Financial Lines for Chubb Global Markets.
Commenting on Bremner’s appointment, Russell Bean, Chief Underwriting Officer at Talbot Underwriting, said, “His appointment will further strengthen our leadership team and build on the underwriting expertise at the heart of Talbot.
